What is the purpose of this Rebate Tool?

Grundfos has researched an array of programs throughout North America that are in place to incentivize industry to adopt more energy efficient technologies, including VFDs like our MLE motor and our CUE. We are providing this set of resources to you to assist you in communicating the value proposition of these technologies and to enable your end-users to benefit from the rebates available in their respective areas.

What types of energy efficiency rebates are included in the report?

Our external Rebate Tool features a broad list of rebates and incentives for industrial and commercial energy-saving upgrades, including VFDs, motors, and pumps. The programs are based on research on what is offered at the state, federal and utility level. If you know of a local rebate not included in the list, please reach out to your Grundfos sales representative with the recommendation.

How can I see more information about a program?

Within the Program Search page of the tool, use the scrolling bar at the bottom and right side to scroll for more information. In the last column, you can find links and information for the website and application, so you are able to provide that information to your end-user and take the next steps.

How does the rebate estimate calculator work?

After searching and selecting the program rebate you want to estimate, the rebate estimate calculator uses your input data such as energy reduction in KWH or upgraded equipment HP to provide an approximate rebate amount. It helps you understand potential savings for the end-user of the equipment.

Can I search for specific rebates or incentives?

Yes, the embedded tool includes a search functionality that allows you to filter rebates by location, program type, eligibility, and more to quickly find relevant incentives. On the left hand side is search functionality with specific filters, and on the right hand side is a natural language search (i.e. Programs in California for VFDs).

How do I apply for a rebate?

Within the Program Search page of the tool, find the program you are wanting to apply to and follow the row to the last column. There, you should find information that leads you directly to the application or the website that contains the application.

How long is the process to get a rebate?

Most rebates have a very simple application process. In general, you fill out a form with your project information and send it in. Based on approval and the program, receival of the rebate may vary. Grundfos does not administrate any of the rebate programs listed here. We are providing the database as a toolkit for helping implement energy-saving solutions into the industrial sector.
